All Good Shows Must Come to a TERRIBLE End

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 11, 2009, 8:39 PM
Warning: Completely random, TV related rant ahead. Read at your own risk.

It's official. Eli Stone is over. It's technically been canceled for awhile now, but they were going to finish out the season. Then it went on hiatus for awhile until a few weeks ago. Tonight the final episode aired.

OMG it was terrible! Well, episode wise it wasn't terrible. There's no such thing as a terrible Eli Stone episode. That show is was amazing! But as far as finales go, that was awful!

First of all, it was supposed to wrap everything up nicely. At least, that's what The TV Addict, Ausiello, and TV Guide all said. Secondly, Gregory Smith (from Everwood) was supposed to be on it.

1) Nothing was wrapped up. Not in my mind at least. We were left with so many questions and only vague, possible answers. The one pissing me off the most is the whole Maggie/Grace thing. Is Eli going to wind up with one of them? Which one!? At one point they said Grace was his soul mate, but the next second they're talking about how he loves Maggie. And the whole Maggie saving the day with the plane crash thing seemed like a cope out. I would be less pissed if the plane crashed with Maggie and Paul on it, and Eli dying trying to save them. At least then things would have been wrapped up! And what about Taylor and Matt's wedding and baby? And Jordon's opinion on Eli's visions? Jordon practically disappeared from that episode after his confrontation with Eli.

2) Gregory Smith was in it for about 5 seconds, and he was very greasy looking. :O

3) Why the hell does it have to end!? Dammit, why does TV have to be a business? The best shows end up suffering since it all comes down to which ones bring in more money.

Okay, I'm done. I feel better now.
